Organ Commercial Embroidery Needle

This is the second generation embroidery needle. It is virtually the same as 16 X 257 with a 25% large eye. For example, a DBXK5 size 10/70 needle has an eye which is at least as large as the eye in a 16 X 257 size 12/80. Unlike sewing thread used for general apparel sewing, embroidery threads are "fluffier" and have less tensile strength.A large needle eye, without increased blade diameter, puts less tension on the thread. This allows the thread to pass easily through the needle's eye without fraying or snapping. It also allows easier threading as knots pass through the eye easier too.
